Yet, those items that we see on the international catwalks and in magazines fat in English or French, are still prohibitively expensive for wealthy citizens who was not first world. The only one that does not discriminate on the bombardment of information, " and you see this season, this body should be and the clothes and the shoes and the hair and these nails ... . " And in Guatemala (where most often become a status symbol), recent trends come to us from the hand of foreign channels and some other local, a tiered pricing according to the consumer. It is recognized that because of that, at least in terms of clothing is concerned, the socioeconomic status of people seems more blurred than before. It would be naive, then, to deny the risks of fashion as a tool voracious consumerism, as promoting uniformity. That said, we need clothes and no way ... Then why not use it as an instrument of individualism, self-expression? Indeed, I intend that this new space will inspire those love of clothes as art, who put his personality to the imposition of a trend and give it its own flavor. This column will be devoted to those which need not be such a showcase, taking advantage of actually dressing to undress, to prove who they are. And for those who want to cheer, tell you all about places where to find original pieces on Guatemalan style, on people who are dedicated to fashion and always in the end, share some ideas to help us go through finding out what we get. And fashion is that interests me is not used to deny, hide or conceal, but to give color and texture to it who makes each unique.
